Our Safety Protocols

cleaning

Cleaning and sanitizing the office

We continue to comply with OSHA and American Dental Association requirements for proper sanitation and disinfection protocols for dentistry. Our standard sterilization and infection control practices already exceed state and federal guidelines. We also have industrial grade air purifying systems in place and advanced water filtration. Our dental team will continue to wear extremely high levels of protection to help stop the spread of COVID-19, along with other viruses, which includes higher level masks and face shields.

Social distancing

We have implemented a “car to chair” safety protocol to comply with recommended state and federal social distancing. We kindly request that you CALL THE OFFICE UPON YOUR ARRIVAL 410-329-6866, and you will be given instructions pertaining to your appointment. Once your treatment room has been disinfected and made ready, we will call you, meet you at the door and escort you to your room.

We eagerly look forward to the day when we can chat with you in our reception room while you wait for your appointment.

Check-in procedures

After you are instructed to enter the office, a team member will take your temperature (forehead), pulse and measure your oxygen saturation using a fingertip pulse oximeter. You will be asked to rinse with a Peroxide based mouthwash before your cleaning and/or treatment. We also ask that when walking around the office you wear a mask. If you don’t have one, we will provide you with one. Further, we have removed all magazines from office to prevent the spread of germs. Hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial soap are abundant throughout the office.

You will be required to fill out a short screening questionnaire prior to your visit. If you or someone in your family is currently or has experienced ANY symptoms of illness (including fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms) during the last 14 days before your scheduled appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. We will happily reschedule your appointment to a future date.

Mandatory masks when entering the office

Please wear your mask when you enter and while you are present in the office. A team member will instruct you when to take if off prior to your appointment. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.

Thank you for your cooperation and adaptation throughout this time!
