On behalf of our staff we would like to welcome you to our office. It is our desire to provide for your dental needs as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. The most important service we have to offer is a plan for preventive dentistry in an oral health and total body approach.
Dr. Candace Zorn was born and raised in Maryland, and grew up watching and working in her father’s dental practice. After attending Maryvale Preparatory School, she received her undergraduate degree from Drexel University, in Philadelphia, PA, where she graduated cum laude with a major in Biomedical Engineering. She knew her passion was in dentistry and received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, graduating with honors. While in dental school, she was President of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and was selected to participate in a Pediatric Clerkship her junior year and Special Patient Care Clerkship her senior year for advanced training in those particular specialties. She went on to complete a hospital-based residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. This training prepared her to treat challenging cases, patients with special medical needs, and emergency care.
Dr. Candace Zorn has also gone on to complete over 500 hours of continuing education courses and training in various fields such as implant placement and restoration, cosmetic restorations, and tongue tie and lip tie release, functional frenuloplasty and frenectomies. She has a special interest in tongue ties after her personal experience with her children and hopes to help educate others in this area.
In her free time, Dr. Zorn can be found with her husband, three kids and dog exploring all that Maryland has to offer. Professional memberships include: Academy of General Dentists, Maryland State Dental Association, Baltimore County Dental Association, American Dental Association, Mommy Dentists in Business, and American Laser Study Club
Dr. Zorn is a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. He attended Drexel University and holds a B.S Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor degree in Biomedical Engineering. He graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School and completed one year residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore. Dr. Zorn has taught at University of Maryland Dental School for 8 years as a clinical professor and also has instructed at the Medix School (now called Fortis). Dr. Zorn has been practicing since 1977 and has three children; one boy, and two girls. In addition, Dr. Zorn is very motivated to keep up with the current trends in Dentistry. There are changing paradigms constantly and Dr. Zorn is motivated to constantly take continuing education courses. In particular, Dr. Zorn has taken a mini residency in all surgical aspects of implants and the restorative process to complete crowns, bridges, and dentures. He also attends regular seminars for facings, veneers and cosmetic dentistry. His passion has been to “STAY CURRENT” because equipment and technology is changing daily.
Patient Care Coordinator/ Front Desk Admin
Michele has been in the dental field for the last 30 years. She started out as a dental assistant and moved into working the front desk, insurance specialist and an office manager over the years. She loves helping patients find the right insurance and keeping on top of their copays. She is a huge Ravens fan, enjoys traveling and loves to spend time outdoors with her wife and two dogs when she has time off.
Certified Dental Assistant
Dawn has been working in the dental field for 18 years and assisting in our practice for over 5 years. It is not unusual for Dawn to go above and beyond to make sure every patient has a positive visit. She is a licensed certified dental assistant and expanded functions, and regularly attends continuing education courses to remain current on standard of care practices.
Dawn lives in Pennsylvania and loves to spend time with her family, and of course, quality time with her dog Peyton. She also enjoys singing to our patients and you will often hear her beautiful voice during your dental visit.
Accounting Services
Kathy comes to us with almost 30 years experience in accounting with a special concentration in the dental and medical field. She was previously working and managing a construction and landscaping business.
When she is not in the office, she is very busy with her three teenage sons and her new puppy, Tucker.
